Terracotta and petroleum, a cutting-edge color combination for this textured round sculpture. The cracks gently accompany the change in depth. The contrast of colors is the protagonist here; petroleum and terracotta complement each other perfectly for an intense and profound result. The round shape has always attracted me, and here we find it with this distinct change in depth. Unlike other works, here the technique is negative; material has been removed to create the hollow part. Experimentation with techniques and materials is always at the heart of the work.
