Material background
Many of you may be wondering why the painting isn't centered on the sofa. It's not easy to explain, but I swear the work is perfectly balanced in the space.
Valentina and Fausto chose the most delicate color scheme, in harmony with their home. The contrast—"it's there but you can't see it"—with this white background, almost as much as the wall, while the teal stripe that runs between the two parts of the work stands out. Finally, the charcoal detail was a must-have in a home that also features two small blue eyes!
