A textured concrete background and deep cracks joined by a thin thread. Simply a piece from the new "meetings" series. Like many things, this work was born from a "mistake." During production, the piece fell to the floor and split in half. Thus was born the idea of highlighting this perfect yet unintended fracture, a spontaneous fracture, born by chance, which creates an important detail without which the work would not be so special. The terracotta-colored line emphasizes the path of the crack. It is a reference to the great Japanese art of kintsugi, "a broken vase can become even more beautiful than it was originally."
